Bill Fleishman

As President of New England’s most distinguished consumer marketing public relations practice, Bill Fleishman combines a rich consumer product and branding background with expertise in marketing communications.
Bill is responsible for leading the overall strategy and development of integrated product and service offerings for Cone Communications. Additionally, he plays a key role in promoting cross-agency integration by proactively identifying opportunities for individuals’ professional growth as well as leading Cone Communications’ creative services and new media capabilities.
He also leads the agency’s key consumer brand accounts. He provides strategic counsel in the creation of integrated marketing strategies, public relations programming, online and offline advertising, media planning, sponsorship and promotional events. Bill’s experience includes program development and implementation for Jiffy Lube, Jockey, Alpo, Yoplait, Audible.com, Movie Gallery, Chicco, Hollywood Video, Box Tops for Education, Game Crazy, Nestlé Waters, Tidy Cats, Pennzoil-Quaker State, Beneful, Domtar, Osram-Sylvania, Uno Chicago Grill and the Monster.com Olympic sponsorship.
Prior to joining Cone Communications, Bill was the head of marketing for iDolls.com, a direct marketer of collectable and play dolls. As part of the initial start-up team, his primary focus was to shape the brand identity while creating a marketing department and in-house creative agency. Bill was also responsible for alliance building, media relations, advertising and promotional efforts, collateral design and production, and the development of an offline catalogue division.
In 1996, Bill founded PCF Virtual Advertising and Integrated Marketing in Honolulu, Hawaii and grew the business to a $6 million agency with a client roster including Subway, Midas, Baskin-Robbins, Fantastic Sam’s, University of Phoenix and the Maui Ocean Center. As a partner in the top-ten regional agency, Bill spearheaded client marketing strategy, business development, and managed day-to-day operations. Bill relocated to Boston in late 1999.
Massachusetts native Bill moved to the Pacific Rim in 1991, and went on to supervise key accounts such as Aloha Tower Marketplace, the Pacific's first festival marketplace and historic landmark destination; Star Markets, Hawaii's largest independent grocery chain account; and MOS Burger, Japan's largest quick serve restaurant chain’s launch in the United States.
A recipient of numerous industry awards, Bill began his career in communications as a radio news anchor and advertising copywriter. He is a cum laude graduate of the University of Massachusetts at Amherst.
Bill currently serves as treasurer of The Publicity Club of New England.
