Cici Gordon

 

Cici Gordon brings to the Cone team a solid background in consumer products, sports and special events promotion along with extensive experience in marketing, national media relations, program development, crisis communications and account management.

 

As senior brand strategist for Cone, Gordon’s responsibilities include positioning the agency for growth, defining and executing the Cone brand strategy, and overseeing all marketing activities for the agency.  A 20+ year history with the agency provides a wealth of expertise and knowledge in the industry.

Prior to assuming her agency marketing role, Gordon served as head of cone's business development team following a decade as VP in the brand marketing group.  She has been responsible for strategic program creation and implementation, branding and positioning work, account management, event planning and execution, crisis communications, sponsorship management, aggressive media relations and materials development.  Her work has encompassed clients such as Rollerblade, Timberland, THOR•LO, Swiss Army, Burger King, Cannondale, Barbour Country Clothing, Annie’s Homegrown and Hi-Tec.

Prior to joining Cone in 1990, Gordon worked as director of marketing for Mt. Cranmore, a four-season ski and  recreation resort, where her responsibilities included promotions and activities development, communications, advertising, customer relations, and sales management.  She also completed a year of sales and marketing training with a leading consumer products company.

 

Gordon has a B.A. in Economics with a concentration in English from Colby College.  She is married with two children and resides in Winchester, Massachusetts.
