This entry-level position will offer the ideal candidate a great opportunity to learn the ropes of account management and consumer PR while making a significant contribution to account teams and the agency. We need a true team player with a positive and energetic attitude and superb interpersonal skills. You are detail-oriented with a penchant for organization, keen time management skills and a proactive approach to work. In this role, you will be responsible for media list development, pitching local and trade media, creating and maintaining clip books, drafting press releases, pitch letters and backgrounders. In addition, you’ll be the glue that holds the team together by managing all the account administration.
Qualified candidates should have: • 0-2 years experience (a minimum of one internship in a related field required) • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, LexisNexis and internet research tools • Demonstrable abilities in public relations and ideally marketing communications • Intellectual curiosity, creativity and passion
