Jens Bang
Chief Executive Officer

 

CEO Jens Bang has a depth of global experience and a diverse consumer products background. He has a strong record of achievement in the strategic positioning and development of leadership brands, and his sales and marketing management knowledge comes from both the client and agency side. With the agency since 1997, he has held roles as partner, EVP, CMO, COO and president. He lends his diverse expertise and counsel to the agency’s family of clients.

 

 

Bill Fleishman
President

 

As Cone’s president, Bill Fleishman combines 20 years of rich consumer product and branding background with expertise in marketing communications. In his role as president, Bill leads the overall strategy and development of integrated product and service offerings and manages Cone’s creative services and new media capabilities. As head of the Brand Marketing discipline, he provides strategic counsel for the agency’s key consumer brand accounts, including Jiffy Lube International, Yoplait, ALPO and Nestlé Waters.

 

 

Marie O'Neill
Chief Financial Officer

 

Marie O’Neill has been a member of Cone’s finance team for more than 10 years. As CFO, Marie is responsible for overseeing and managing all of Cone’s financial affairs from planning, budgeting and reporting, to accounts payable and accounts receivable. She was the recipient of the 2008 Omnicom Financial Leadership Award.

 

 

Mike Lawrence
Chief Reputation Officer & Executive Vice President, Crisis Prevention & Management

 

As CRO, Mike Lawrence, an Emmy Award-winning former journalist, is responsible for leadership on reputational issues arising from client business across agency practice areas, as well as for providing direction on such issues for Cone itself. As EVP, Mike helps set strategy for Cone’s Crisis Prevention & Management and Corporate Responsibility disciplines. Mike also serves as a member of the agency’s senior leadership group.

 

 

Craig Bida
Executive Vice President, Cause Branding

 

Craig Bida brings more than 20 years of experience spanning the private, public and nonprofit sectors – successfully partnering with companies, government agencies and nonprofits to drive business growth, while addressing pressing societal needs. As an executive vice president and head of Cone’s Cause Branding and Nonprofit Marketing disciplines, Craig is responsible for setting the vision for the future of the two disciplines, as well as acting as a strategic advisor for key clients.

 

 

Alison DaSilva
Executive Vice President, Research & Insights

 

As executive vice president of Cone’s Research & Insights group, Alison DaSilva is responsible for tracking and identifying trends to keep our clients on the leading edge of Corporate Responsibility and Cause Branding. She has led Cone’s benchmark research on social issues and responsible business practices for the last 13 years and serves as strategic counsel for cause clients.

 

 

Jonathan Yohannan
Executive Vice President, Corporate Responsibility

 

Jonathan Yohannan is the acting head of Cone’s Corporate Responsibility discipline. His expertise is in corporate responsibility strategy and communications, program development, media relations, cause marketing and event promotion. Jonathan frequently helps clients, such as Nestlé Waters North America, Timberland and Sambazon, evaluate and position complex information to disparate audiences.

 

 

Mark Malinowski
Senior Vice President, Cone Entertainment Marketing

 

Mark Malinowski joined Cone in 2008 and brings over two decades of experience, providing a strong strategic vision and a deep understanding of brands, entertainment marketing, celebrity relations and marketing public relations. Mark leads the agency's Entertainment Marketing team.  Additionally, Mark is the lead strategist for accounts such as Fiber One, Yoplait Save Lids to Save Lives, Yoplait Yo-Plus and Ben & Jerry’s.

 

 

Patricia Hurley
Senior Vice President, Cause Branding & Nonprofit Marketing

 

As a senior vice president, Patricia Hurley brings nearly 20 years of experience in brand marketing, public relations, strategic positioning, audience and issue research, partner/sponsorship building, program development and implementation, event management, media relations, creative ideation and facilitation and teambuilding. Since joining Cone, Patricia has worked with leading companies and organizations, including the American Cancer Society, American Kidney Fund and Avon.

 

 

Liz Gorman
Senior Vice President, Corporate Responsibility

 

Liz Gorman is a senior member of Cone’s corporate responsibility discipline with more than a decade of CR-related experience. She complements Cone’s team with her strong blend of strategic communications and program management experience in the areas of corporate responsibility (CR), community and environmental affairs, public affairs, public relations and cause branding. Since joining Cone in 2007, she has led account teams for Starbucks, CVS Caremark, eBay, EMC, Nestlé Waters North America, Johnson & Johnson and Campbell Soup Company, among others.

   

 

Cici Gordon
Senior Brand Strategist

 

With Cone for over two decades, Cici Gordon has worked on projects in all of Cone's disciplines, and led teams for a broad array of clients.  Based on her deep knowledge of the agency and its offerings, Gordon’s responsibilities include defining and executing the Cone brand strategy, positioning the agency for growth, and ensuring the alignment of all disciplines.  Gordon is also responsible for helping to maintain Cone's high visibility within the industry.

 

 

Jennifer Sheehy Everett
Vice President, Crisis Prevention & Management

 

Jennifer Sheehy Everett has dedicated 16 years of her communications career to the practice of issue and reputation management and crisis prevention, response and training. As the head of the Crisis Prevention & Management discipline, she conducts risk assessments, develops risk mitigation plans, creates crisis response protocols, builds and facilitates media and crisis training programs and crisis simulation exercises and provides issue and crisis management counsel and support for clients, including Ben & Jerry’s, CVS Caremark, General Mills and Nestlé Waters North America.

 

 

Marc Berliner
Vice President, Brand Marketing

 

Marc Berliner brings 15 years of experience in strategic marketing for consumer, consumer technology and high-technology brands to his role as vice president in Cone’s Brand Marketing discipline. A results-driven professional with both agency and in-house experience, clients value his counsel, creative program development, strong media relations instincts and effective writing style. Marc is a trusted advisor who works with clients, including Jiffy Lube International, Timberland, General Mills and Hannaford Supermarkets.

 

 

Heather Breslau
Vice President, Brand Marketing

 

As a vice president in Cone’s brand marketing discipline, Heather Breslau brings experience from the food and restaurant industry, as well as expertise in developing and managing marketing and branding communications programming for a range of consumer products. Heather’s expertise includes strategic planning and development, brand communications, partnership/sponsorship building, new channel and product launches, event management, cause branding and national media relations. She has been with Cone for more than seven years managing integrated marketing communications programs for Jockey International, Starbucks New England, Dunkin’ Donuts, Annie’s Homegrown and General Mills.

 

 

Tim Munroe
Vice President, Business Development

 

Joining Cone in 2010, Tim is vice president of Cone’s Business Development team. He brings to Cone more than two decades of experience in the intersecting worlds of public relations, journalism, law and sales. His public relations experience spans consumer, technology and professional services organizations. Tim’s role at the agency is to strategize for future growth, foster new client relationships, work with new business inquiries, develop partnerships, and build industry relationships. Tim also works closely with Cone’s Marketing and Knowledge Leadership & Insights teams to promote the agency as a leading voice in the public relations industry.

   

 

Byron Calamese
Vice President, Business Development

 

With more than a decade of experience in marketing and public relations, Byron brings a strong corporate and agency communications background to the Cone team. As a vice president in Cone’s Business Development department, he helps lead the group in developing and executing strategies to drive new and organic business growth and increases the agency’s visibility at key industry events and conferences.

   

 

Ziba Cranmer
Vice President, Cause Branding

 

Ziba Cranmer brings deep experience in corporate sustainability strategy development and a history of incubating successful innovation initiatives in the areas of strategic philanthropy, product and category development, transparency and stakeholder engagement to her work in Cone’s Cause Branding and CR disciplines. Ziba has extensive experience living and working in diverse global contexts including the Middle East, Vietnam, the Netherlands and the UK, and has previously worked for Nike and the World Bank.

 

 

Stephanie Doherty
Vice President, Brand Marketing

 

Stephanie Doherty, a vice president in Cone’s Brand Marketing discipline, brings more than two decades of communications experience in developing, leading and executing consumer marketing programs. As a VP in Cone’s Business Development group for nine years, Stephanie played a critical role in the agency’s business development efforts helping Cone build the client roster that exists today. Currently, she is a key consumer brand marketer and strategist for clients, including Nestlé Purina, Beneful, ALPO and Tidy Cats.

 

 

Rich Maiore
Vice President, Cause Branding & Nonprofit Marketing

 

Rich Maiore has more than 12 years of fundraising and integrated communications experience with an expertise in developing and executing innovative marketing and branding programs. During his nearly five years at Cone, Rich has leveraged his deep marketing, communication, cause and sports marketing experience to develop and launch numerous award-winning integrated campaigns for clients, such as Betty Crocker, Bisquick, ITT, Paralyzed Veterans of America and Target.

 

 

Peggy O’Shea Kochenbach
Vice President, Brand Marketing

 

Peggy O’Shea Kochenbach is a vice president in Cone’s Brand Marketing discipline. A registered dietitian, Peggy has an extensive science background, as well as deep and broad experience with marketing communications for food and beverage brands. During her tenure at Cone she has managed integrated marketing communications programs for clients, including Lindt, Ian’s, General Mills and Guiding Stars Licensing Company.

 

 

Amy Russ
Vice President, Brand Marketing

 

Amy brings more than 13 years of experience in strategic public relations and marketing communications to her role as vice president. With a diverse background that includes both client and agency-side experience, Amy has a proven track record for developing successful initiatives that yield measurable results. At cone, she has created and managed integrated marketing programs for clients, including Jockey International, the American Cancer Society, L’Oréal, Nestlé Waters, Deloitte and Betty Crocker.

   

 

Pete Buhler
Vice President, Creative Services

 

As Cone’s director of Creative Services, Pete Buhler has more than 10 years of creative and marketing experience as both an in-house creative director and an independent creative consultant. Pete brings a strategic direction to Cone’s creative services department and plays an integral role in evolving Cone’s creative direction to meet a variety of client and agency needs. His work includes identity development, packaging, collateral, point-of-sale, Web site design, tradeshow/event graphics, e-commerce and advertising.

 

 

Mike Hollywood
Director, New Media

 

With many years of client-side, dot-com and interactive marketing agency work, Mike Hollywood brings a strong strategic vision, a proactive project management style and a detailed knowledge of the new media landscape. Mike works across disciplines to understand each client’s needs, identifying opportunities and recommending appropriate strategies and tactics in the areas of emerging media and technology.
